The landscapes are not visible by some indoor paintings, but the painting has suggested an intimate relationship with the wide world of outdoor by the light, which shine through the window.
This renovation project explored the same quality of relationships as such paintings.
Existing building had been carefully considered the relationships between outdoor and indoor spaces.The focus was to promote this rich relationships.And the result was the gradual succession from the interior to the exterior space.
The south side bright color materials had been chosen in order to invite sunlight into the room.The north side dark color materials had been chosen to express vivid color of trees. From south to north, color and brightness of the material is changing gradually.Delicate light particles, reflected by warm materials, connects the relationship between the scenery and environment.
Shades of diatomaceous earth and the color tone of the fittings and furniture with various tree species stepwise connect the indoor to outdoor.And their building materials can also function as an intermediary for relate to each different shape and function rooms.In spite an indoor renovation, by being aware of the relationship with outdoor, stepwise stripes chamber is produced.
